When to use it

For day and night use. Short range distress signal used to locate position. To turn on: Fully extend the handle, remove the red end cap and pull the lever sharply away from the body. Hold it overhead, outdoors and downwind.

Storage requirements

Ideally, it should be stored in the specially designed sturdy polyethylene bottle, or in a dry and easily accessible place at room temperature.
