When to use it
In case of a man overboard emergency, the marker is automatically deployed by releasing the 4 kg life ring and marks the position of the victim. Or the marker can also be deployed manually.
Storage requirements
Ideally, it should be stored in its original packaging in a dry and easily accessible place at room temperature.
SOLAS requires one of these signs to be mounted on each bridge wing attached to a 4 kg life ring. Mounted on its steel bracket on each bridge wing attached to a life ring.
